not the echo of our scars."

I am a choreographer, director, dancer, teacher, and performer whose work is born from the vibrant intersection of European experimental training and my Brazilian artistic roots.
From the beginning, my artistic journey has been a quest for an authentic voice—one that manifests in strong choreographic concepts and a versatile performance style built on genuine connection.
My passion is to investigate what makes expression feel true.
This pursuit is grounded in a prestigious international education. My studies at SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance) gave me the tools for experimental physical training, while my studies at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts broadened my perspective. Yet, all of this builds upon the foundational spirit of my early training at the Tablado Theatre in Brazil.
Ultimately, my curiosity about different bodies, cultures, and ways of living fuels everything I create. It drives me to forge a rich and dynamic physical language that is uniquely my own.
Contemporary Dance & Performance
My creative journey has taken me across borders, and my stage is global. I develop and perform my work in Brazil, Europe, and the USA, exploring the ideas that are most personal to me. My recent projects include my solo piece, "Peel the Onion," and the powerful duo "Womanhood," a collaboration with Ukrainian artist Yana Reutova.
Musical Theatre
When I step into the world of musical theatre as a choreographer and director, my mission is to bring a unique and liberating physicality to the stage. I challenge rigid forms to tell more powerful, human stories. This approach has shaped my work on major Brazilian productions like “Chicago,” “In the Heights,” “Anastasia,” “Rapsódia,” and “Yank!” My goal is to cultivate a unique choreographic voice—a physical language so clear that my pieces are unmistakably my own.
Teaching & Research
For me, teaching is not separate from my art; it is a vital extension of it. Since 2003, I've guided artists through my signature workshop, "Corpo Único" (The art of BoomKaKa), at premier institutions across Brazil and Europe, including for performers from Cirque du Soleil. My passion extends to musical theater, where I lead sought-after classes and workshops to empower the next generation of talent. One of my greatest rewards is seeing so many of my students go on to launch successful professional careers in the industry.
