As a choreographer and director my work is driven by a single, core belief: the body is the most honest storyteller on any stage.
I challenge the rigid traditions of musical theatre to liberate performers, allowing them to tell stories that are more powerful, human, and visceral. My process is one of deep physical research—I search for a character’s truth in the tension of a muscle, the release of a breath, and the raw emotion of a gesture.
This is the fierce commitment to emotional honesty I brought to productions like “Chicago,” “In the Heights,” “Anastasia,” “Rapsódia,” and “Yank!”
My ultimate goal is to forge a signature physical language that is unmistakably my own—creating movement that is not just to be seen, but to be deeply and powerfully felt.
